Equipement rental, set up and 24/7/365 maintenance:

Through its subsidiary Medica Research Services, Cardiabase provides various type of equipment such as ECG, Holter, ABPM, computers and printers to meet all study-specific requirements, from single-center early phase to mult-icenter late phase trials.

All devices are pre-programmed with study information such as study ID, site, patient and visit references.

Bar code option is available for ecg, patient and visit secure identification.

Medica RS takes responsibility for supplying consumables (electrodes, batteries, ECG paper, CD – DVD) throughout the study duration ordered using a simple Internet-based re-ordering procedure.

Medica RS provides 24/7/365 technical support to sites, on a worldwide scale. A team of technicians is available for site training, either on-site, by phone or as part of the Investigator Meeting.

An escalation process provides three levels of action from immediate resolution through to the provision of replacement devices.

Logistics management:
 

Medica Research Services manages all logistical aspects, from packing to shipping and follow-up of delivery. This includes customs clearance and handling of customs documents (using local agents if necessary) and import taxes.

Procedures in place aim at reducing lead time for delivery and relieving the sites from the administrative burdens.
